Welcome to Paintshop101, a full-service Muscle Car restoration shop specializing in Mopars. We do complete rebuilds - disassembling the car down to the last nut and bolt - then restore, rebuild and recreate the car to your specifications. Everything gets stripped and media blasted, metal worked, painted, powdercoated and polished to perfection. From floors to quarters, we do extensive sheet metal surgery having become experts at panel replacement. We understand how your car was built in the first place, and strive to bring its condition back to your desired level of originality, while offering a wide range of upgrade options from engine systems to brakes, suspensions, paint graphics, body mods, interior and creature comforts. We utilize a frame table, rotisseries, paint booth, media blast facilities and the experience gained by having done dozens of Mopars to assure your project is completed with the artistic craftmanship we've built our reputation on.

We perform extensive metalwork and panel replacement as needed for your project. Some of the projects become bare skeletons with no quarters or floors on the way to becoming the solid, beautiful cars we build for you. Our in-house services include frame and body straightening to assure perfect alignment. All projects are rotisserrie-mounted for complete access, once the structure is solid and complete.
We install retro-fit and custom A/C systems for you. Many of your projects get new or upgraded A/C as part of the restoration, and we also do A/C installs as a stand-alone service. We also do brake system upgrades, transmission conversions, suspension upgrades, 5.7 and 6.1 Hemi installations, engine rebuilds, stereo systems, glass replacement and the list goes on and on. If its Mopar, we do it for you.
We also perform routine maintenance and repair on many areas of your Mopar, whether we built it for you or not! Tune ups, trouble shooting and repairs are part of what we do. Wiring issues, dash and instrument repairs, window troubles... if it doesn't run right, look right, feel right or smell right, bring it by and we'll be happy to help you make it right again.

Muscle Rods!
Wild mods, big billets and monster cubes.
Low, wide and mean, designed to impress and intimidate.
If you're ready to go beyond original. Way beyond.
Welcome to the dark side. Welcome to Muscle Rod Shop. With the growing popularity of the Pro-Touring movement and as more enthusiasts lean ever further away from 'correctness', we're finally able to step out of the shadows and reveal our own secret desire - the melding of street rod technology and custom bike attitude with our beloved muscle cars... creating Muscle Rods! Now we peer into shadows seeking others of the same persuasion to see what we can accomplish for you. We're imaginative, experienced, and we know how to build your car. At the heart of every Muscle Rod is a quality restoration - we can take even the worst basket case and work our trusty magic on it. We'll then embellish it with wild body mods, gorgeous paint, upgrades to the drivetrain and suspension, add A/C, power windows, sounds and interior and you'll have a modern, unique Muscle Rod! Our cars have been seen in magazines and at major shows around the country.

Turbo Systems:
Our V10 Viper motor swap into the 69 SuperBee is progressing nicely. One of the challenges facing us has been the need for headers for this
motor in the B-Body chassis, not exactly an off-the-shelf item. We're solving that problem with a header fab kit from StainelssHeaders.com.
This process involves mocking up the headers using their kit which comes with flanges, elbows and collectors, and using inexpensive PVC pipe
to form the tubes and bends. When done, the assembly is sent to their shop for fab in stainless steel. This method can be used for any motor in
any chassis. Click HERE for some pics of the process.

New Arrival:
69 Dart
74 Cuda Pro Street
We have a couple of new additions to the shop floor this month, a 69 Dart and a 74 Cuda. The Dart
will be done in the Resto-Mod style while the Cuda, which is already a crude Pro-Street car, will get
new sheet metal and other body work in preparation for paint. Meanwhile, our 15 other ongoing
projects are moving along well. This month we also finally got our shop build, the 68 Charger, up
on the build table and we're starting to slice and dice. This car will show you just how far you can
go in style and impact utilizing a factory-chassis car to get down in the weeds on a budget. We're
going to build you a car that looks like 200 grand and do it for a fraction of that price.
Follow the Charger build here - starting June 1 2010
